August 4, 2023 -Unieros is set to stage ‘Tings a Gwaan – A Celebration of Caribbean Culture’, a deep-dive into the vibrant diversity, unique flavors, and rhythms characteristic of the Caribbean islands.
This immersive event is slated for August 6, 2023, taking place at the Beach Institute in Savannah, Georgia from 12pm to 6 PM.
‘Tings a Gwaan’ is an event that unites the vivid cultures of Jamaica and several other Caribbean countries, offering attendees an intimate encounter with authentic Caribbean traditions.

Revel in the melodious tunes of reggae, soca, and rhythmically captivating poetry recitations from acclaimed international artistes from the event.
The roster includes Ras Takura, one of Jamaica’s finest dub poets and the recipient of the Best Spoken Word Performer & Entertainer award at the 2023 International Reggae & World Music Awards. Rondell Positive, an inspirational recording artist, and SallyAnn Gray, a renowned motivational speaker, are also set to grace the stage. Musical arrangements will be orchestrated by Ras Jamal and Royal Ethiopia Sound.
