St Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua rocked by earthquake

May 4, 2023  -CNW News -A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported north of the St Vincent and the Grenadines this morning.

The UWI Seismic Research Center (UWI SRC), said that the earthquake occurred around 10:24 am (local time) at a depth of 10 km.

According to the Automatic Earthquake Location from UWI SRC, the quake struck:

Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, 50 km, N

  • Castries, Saint Lucia, 51 km, SW

  • Fort-de-France, Martinique, 110 km, S

Earlier today, there were reports that a magnitude 3.6 earthquake occurred northwest of Antigua and Barbuda around 12:30 am.

According to the Automatic Earthquake Location from the UWI Seismic Research Centre, the quake struck:
