Son of Jamaican politician Aloun N’dombet Assamba dies

September 11, 2023  -Domonic Strachan, the only child of Aloun N’dombet Assamba, Jamaica’s People’s National Party’s (PNP) legal advisor, has died.

According to sources, Strachan experienced a heart attack in the early hours of Saturday in Moneague, St. Ann, and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Strachan’s mother, N’dombet-Assamba, has been a prominent figure in Jamaican politics. Her illustrious career includes roles as Jamaica’s High Commissioner to London, Cabinet Minister, Member of Parliament, and even a tenure in the Senate.
