Pisas departed for the Netherlands to sign a mutual arrangement
April 3, 2023 –WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas departed for the Netherlands on Sunday to sign the mutual arrangement; the premier writes on his Facebook page. The signing will take place in The Hague on Tuesday. The Prime Ministers of Aruba and Sint Maarten will also be present.
The regulation concerns the agreements on reforms that were made in January in Sint Maarten, together with State Secretary of Kingdom Relations Alexandra van Huffelen. The regulation replaces the controversial Caribbean Body for Reform and Development (the so-called COHO) consensus law.
