One dead, others injured in St Croix shooting
April 16, 2023 -Reports are that the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) is probing a shooting incident that killed one person and injured others.
Police reports state that the 911 Emergency Center on St. Croix received a shot spotter alert at 4:49 am, reporting 77 shots being fired in Peters Rest, near a sports bar and nightclub.
Preliminary investigations revealed that one person was killed, one victim is on life support and four others were injured.
