April 27, 2020 WILLEMSTAD - Kindergartens are open again starting May 4. The government reports this in its daily press conference. The next two to three weeks will be allocated to elementary schools to prepare everything. For example, Many toilets have been broken for years and now these have to be repaired and maintained in connection with hygiene.
The final exam classes can start again on May 18.
All points on the checklist are checked together with the Ministry of Health, Environment & Nature to ensure that these classes can run according to the rules.
Restaurants are allowed to open an hour longer, until eight o’clock to deliver curbside. So an hour-long and pick up is only possible if it is delivered to your (car) window.
Trunki Pans (BBQ stands) remain open between 5 PM and 8 PM. Curbside pick up: stay in your car. To order by phone or internet (if this service is available).
Hardware stores are allowed to open fully again. Everyone can now go back in to do some shopping. But the same rules apply as with supermarkets: social distance and hygiene.
