Board of Commissioners of Curaçao Data & Television attends to recent developments at TeleCuraçao with necessary diligence
June 28, 2023 –WILLEMSTAD – The Board of Commissioners of Curaçao Data and Television (CD&T), comprising Data Planet and TeleCuraçao, is diligently addressing the recent developments at TeleCuraçao to ensure that decisions and actions taken align with proper corporate functioning and that the company’s operations are guaranteed. On Monday, July 26th, in good agreement with the current manager of CD&T, it was agreed that he would take his vacation days until the expiration of his contract. The Board of Commissioners of CD&T has appointed, as permitted by the statutes, a temporary member as manager. Mr. John Loefstop will handle pending matters of CD&T until a new manager is appointed for the holding.

CD&T follows the appropriate approach of not commenting on matters concerning individuals working for one of the companies under CD&T publicly. For this reason, CD&T cannot comment on the reported dismissals at TeleCuraçao in the media.
